Request account & data deletion

If you'd like your Gazelle account and associated data permanently removed, please follow the instructions below. For security, we will verify ownership by email before performing deletion. If you have an active session in the app you may prefer to delete your account from inside the app.

Request account deletion by email

If you prefer to request deletion by email, please email contact@gazelle-app.com from the email address associated with your Gazelle account. We will verify ownership and complete deletion within 30 days of verification.

What we delete: account profile (email, display name), linked authentication providers, all user-generated content (food logs, photos, notes), and personalized analytics tied to your account.

What we keep: anonymized, aggregated analytics (non-identifying) used to improve the service for up to 24 months. Minimal audit logs required for legal or security reasons may be retained for up to 6 months.

How to request: Email contact@gazelle-app.com from the account email; include your Account ID or username (if known); put "Account deletion request" in the subject. We'll send a verification email and follow up with status updates.
